Boha Moon was born in South Korea in 2006. She previously studied with Josef Spacek (in Prague), Prof. Nam Yun Kim (Korea National Institute for Gifted in Arts) and Prof. Anat Malkin Almani (Manhattan school of music precollege). She is now studying with Prof. Ida Kavafian at Curtis Institute of music from 2023.
She has won the first prize at many Korean and international competitions such as the Singapore violin festival competition, Kocian violin competition, Euroasia international competition, Ewha&Kyunghyang, Ishikawa music award. In addition, she is a prizewinner of Menuhin competition(2021), Leonid Kogan competition and the Zhuhai Mozart competition 2022. Also, she is the winner of the Ginette Neveu award in 2023.
Boha took masterclasses from many renowned violinists like Mihaela Martin, Klaidi Sahatci, Noah Bendix-Balgley, Philip Draganov or Koichiro Harada.
She gave performances at Carnegie hall, Dvorak hall of Rudolfinum, Lotte concert hall, MKZ Zurich, and more.
